Turn right off SH 1 at Tarewa Road towards Whangarei city centre. Go straight through the first set of lights. At the roundabout take the 2nd exit (Bank Street). Drive up Bank Street through 2 sets of traffic lights in the centre of town and straight through 1 roundabout. Continue to the traffic lights by New World supermarket – in the middle lane take the right fork (Mill Rd) and drive straight ahead. Stonehaven Motel is located about 200m up that road on the right side of the road.
From the Town Basin:Follow Hatea Drive north alongside the river. Turn left at Deveron Street. At the T-junction turn right and Stonehaven Motel is almost immediately on your right.
From the North:After Kensington Stadium drive down the steep hill and turn left at the bottom of the hill before the dual carriageway starts (Manse Street). Follow that road up the hill until you reach New World. At the traffic lights turn left into the 2nd road (not hard left) called Mill Road. Stonehaven Motel is located about 200m up that road on the right side of the road.
